How Much Does Pool Service Cost in Fort Myers, FL?

If you own a pool in Fort Myers, you already know the deal, the Florida sun does not take a day off, and neither does algae. A pool that looked fine on Monday can turn green by Friday without proper maintenance. If you are shopping for a weekly pool service in Fort Myers and trying to figure out what you should actually be paying, this is a straight answer from a local company that does this work every week.

What Is Included in Weekly Pool Service?

Standard Weekly Pool Cleaning Service in Fort Myers

Not all pool service plans are created equal, so it is worth knowing exactly what you are getting before you commit. A proper pool cleaning service in Fort Myers should cover the following every single visit:

• Skimming the surface, leaves, bugs, debris. Everything that does not belong in the water.
• Brushing walls and steps, this is what prevents algae from taking hold in the first place. A lot of services skip this or rush through it.
• Vacuuming the floor, whether manually or with an automatic cleaner, the bottom of your pool should be clean after every visit.
• Emptying skimmer and pump baskets, a clogged basket kills your pump. This takes two minutes and it matters.
• Testing and balancing water chemistry, pH, alkalinity, chlorine, stabilizer. If these are off, everything else suffers.
• Adding chemicals as needed, this is where a lot of companies quietly upcharge. Know upfront what is included.
• Checking equipment, a good tech notices when your pump is running hot or your filter pressure is climbing. Catching problems early saves you money on pool equipment repair down the line.

If a company’s weekly visit does not include most of this list, you are not really getting weekly pool service, you are getting a quick chemical dose and a wave goodbye.

Pool Service Pricing in Fort Myers: What to Expect

Average Cost of Weekly Pool Service

Here is the honest answer: most Fort Myers homeowners pay somewhere between $100 and $175 per month for weekly pool maintenance, depending on pool size, type, and what is included. The Southwest Florida market is competitive, and most reputable local companies are not wildly different from each other on base price. What differs is reliability, consistency, and whether the tech actually does the work.

What drives the price up or down:

• Pool size, a small plunge pool and a 30,000 gallon screen enclosed pool are not the same job.
• Condition of the pool, a neglected pool costs more to bring back to baseline. Ongoing service on a well maintained pool is simpler and cheaper.
• What is included in chemicals, some companies charge a flat rate covering chemicals, others bill separately. Ask upfront.

Salt Water Pool Maintenance Cost in Fort Myers

Salt water pool maintenance in Fort Myers typically runs a little higher than standard chlorine service. The reason: salt systems require monitoring the salt cell, testing salt levels, and managing a slightly different chemical balance. If you are considering making the switch, see our salt water conversion service, it is one of the most common upgrades we do for Fort Myers homeowners.

At Liquid Pool Concepts, we keep pricing simple: flat monthly rate, chemicals included, no contracts. You know what you are paying before we show up, no line item surprises at the end of the month.

Local vs. Franchise Pool Service in Fort Myers

Why Fort Myers Homeowners Switch to Local Pool Companies

A lot of homeowners in Fort Myers get approached by large regional pool service companies, some franchises, some corporate operations running dozens of routes. The pitch sounds reasonable. The problems tend to show up after month two.

Here is what we consistently hear from customers who switched to us:

• Different tech every week. When there is turnover or route shuffling, a new person shows up each time. Nobody knows your equipment, your pool’s quirks, or your gate code.
• Hard to reach anyone. You notice something off on a Tuesday. You call and get a call center, then a voicemail, then a service ticket number, then maybe a callback in 48 hours.
• Contract lock in. Many large companies require 12 month agreements. If service drops off after month two, you are still on the hook.
• Upsells on everything. A service visit turns into a repair quote that is three times what an independent local company would charge.

Being local and family owned is not just a tagline, it changes how we operate. When something goes wrong with your pool, you are talking to someone who knows your pool and has a direct stake in fixing it right. We also serve Cape Coral pool service and surrounding Southwest Florida communities including Bonita Springs, Estero, Lehigh Acres, and North Fort Myers.

We do not do contracts. If you are not happy with the service, you stop. We would rather earn your business every month than lock you in and coast.
